I hear the laugh from "Feel Good, Inc." by Gorillaz over the muzak system and I think maybe they'll finally start playing some good music for a change.

The version they played was completely butchered. You know how you memorize every note and nuance of a song and any deviation is jarring?

Yeah, the song was ruined.

The Walmart we go to plays more mellow stuff from the 70s and 80s. That is when you can even hear the music.

Before I got into the mortgage banker/mortgage broker business, I managed several retail stores. One thing I learned, and it's thankfully carried over until this day, was to tune out any store background music.
