Dry night for me. I've got a test in the morning and I'm reviewing and taking a break to read here on occasion.

wimp.  :-)  I don't think I ever took a test or exam without a staggering hangover, or, on a few occasions, while I was still half shit faced, until I was a junior in college. :-)

Try to remember I'm a very old college student.  :old:

I understand the feeling.  it was devastating when I realized that i couldn't stay out until 2 AM, and be functional at 8AM.  I thought my life was over.

I may spoil myself one last time with some Sam Adams tomorrow.  My  room-mate has Icehouse in the fridge, but I am afraid to try it after what Chris said.

Tonight, it's just Dr. Pepper.

Ah, but see, it's WHICH KIND of Sammy that makes you either a connoisseur or just another hack.

Me, I'd go for the Winter Ale, or perhaps the Cherry Wheat (sweet yes, but tasty) if you could find it.

I LOVE the cherry wheat!  I hope I can find it here.  It's plentiful in Atlanta, but Savannah may be another story.

Hint: try it a little warmer than usual, like around 55F (same temp as you'd drink a Guiness).  MUCH better that way.

Okay.  I'll give that a try. :)

:-) You're not the only one, I'm a 27 year old junior :loser:

nah.  some of us are late getting to college.  some of us are late finding careers.  some of us are late to maturity.  personally, I am still about 10 years old, most of the time. :-)

you merlot people should try (if you haven't yet) a shiraz.

 :old: Wise words...
That shiraz is good.  I ordered a bottle last time I was out at a Thai restaurant with a couple of friends.

So there will be no sex fiend thread tonight?... hmmmm?  :naughty:

Oh, I don't need to have drink in me to accomplish contribution to a thread about that.  :innocent:

would you say that your sexiness or your fiendishness is more enhanced by a drink? :hyper:

penfolds, yes?  outstanding!  rosemount is another great mid-priced australian red.  they also pioneered the use of synthetic corks, which I initially viewed with bottomless contempt, but later came to appreciate.

Indeed, I heart Penfolds.  Only one lone bottle of Grange though, saving for some celebration like it being a Saturday.  About two thirds of my wine collection is Penfolds, Wolf Blass, and Rosemount  :cheersmate:

what is the other one third?

Alright, screw this.  I can't take this watered down crap anymore.  Off to the local watering hole for a Sammy's...or maybe a Red Hook...

I've never had bourbon.

It is good. I'm only having one and then stopping. Don't cut your bourbon teeth on Wild Turkey, though, if you ever decide to try it.

accounting was my minor until I hit cost accounting 101.  that's when I realized that the entire disciple was deranged.  "work in progress?  how the F*CK can you account for something that isn't freaking finished?  this makes no sense".

I thought it was a bunch of SOP classes, and only picked it because my GF in college was an accounting major.  but it turns out that shit is hard!

crown is . . . . well, it's wonderful.  by the time I get to the point that I am doing crown, it's always shots.  and for some reason, it's always time to go shortly after that.
