????? Next to the jug-eared Kenyan, Tiger is the most famous person in the world. He was in a car crash, probably after being whomped in the head with a golf club by his wife. Why is that not news?? We aren't DUmmies. News doesn't have to involve politics.

A guy backed into a fire hydrant and a tree.

That's not news.

Everything else came out after. Frankly, that's not news either. That's TMZ material.

Just my opinion, though.

I'd really like to see who he's banging over his current wife. She must be hot as hell!

Interesting that this happened the day that the National Enquirer broke a huge Tiger Woods cheating on his wife story.
The manasger of the National Enquirer was on TV on some celebraty show, last night, drooling with excitement over more gossip re Tiger Woods cheating on his wife. It's disgusting for that rag to try to bring down a man, Tiger Woods, who has been a gentleman throughout, and has brought such pride to our country.

It's a domestic issue. We all have them. Let the Tiger Woods family settle it quietly on their own.

I agree 100%. Tiger deserves a mulligan on one discrete piece of strange.
It's too bad Mrs. Woods disagreed, and turned the whole thing into tabloid fodder. She should be with John Daly.
I don't know about bringing "pride to our country", though. Sounds too much like an Obamabotulism.
The last guy who actually did that was Ronaldus Magnus, and Tiger will never be in the same universe with him.

LOL. Ronald Raegan & Tiger Woods? You are not comparing apples with apples. Tiger IS a gentleman, He HAS brought pride to our country, I DO respect him.

As for the rag National Enquirer, their only purpose is to destroy people.... :hammer:

How does a Swedish model "go ghetto"?

Also just heard that Tiger will not be playing in or attending his own charity golf tournament this coming week.  I'm SHOCKED!

Yeah, that sounds pretty ghetto-like to me. (Except for the golf club, of course.)

The fact that NOBODY knows ANYTHING yet FOR SURE, will not stop nasty rumors from flying fast and furious. Sheesh.

It is quickly reaching the point where he probably should come clean, at least about some of what happened.  Posting your press releases exclusively on your own website looks awfully cowardly after a while.

It's going to look a whole lot worse when he does come clean. Esp. if there are assault charges (or any kind of charges) forthcoming.

Nobody is bashing Tiger because they are perfect and he's not. Quite the contrary. Everyone is flawed and if he had just owned up to it the public would forgive and forget a lot quicker. There is more to the story than what has been told and he bungled it badly. I wonder if he's gone against the advice of his P.R./Legal team? I can't imagine anyone that represents an athlete of his stature not getting out in front of this story and taking better control of the media blitz.

Quite frankly, it's nobody's business except him, his wife and possibly the police.

It's not even news worthy IMO, but I have grown accustomed to the stupidity of the crap that 24/7 news sources decide to flood the airways and print media with.

It could that Tiger Woods wanted to go to the drug store to help his children and was in a real hurry or he sleepwalked and drove. Sleepwalkers have been known to drive cars.

I have to wonder if Woods had some sort of medical episode that caused him to have this accident - no alcohol coupled with two low speed collisions just outside of his home suggests something just isn't right.

Sleepwalking.

If this was anyone else living in that neighborhood that was not a celebrity...it wouldn't even make the news.

It's sad that a couple's most personal issues are being blasted all over the news, tabloids, internet.

However that being said.....Tiger is a public persona. He is not going to his own golf tournament this weekend. That leads to a great deal of speculation.

If he is not seriously injured, which he should not be if all he did was back into a fire hydrant and then forward into a tree. He could not have hit either one very hard, or his airbag would have deployed and Escalades are built like tanks. (My other half backed into a fire hydrant with his Jeep Grand Cherokee and all that happened was the bumper crumpled. Well....he also cussed a blue streak, cause I was outside the car and didn't warn him about it....oops! :o ) Nevertheless....Tiger has lived in that house for some period of time and should be well aware of the placement of the fire hydrant, and it was not blocked by any foliage.

Because of his actions....it makes one wonder if Tiger isn't hurt worse than he is reported to be....OR....he got them some way other than in the course of wrecking his car.....OR...he is extremely vain and doesn't want minor injuries to be photographed.

It could be any one or all of the above.

The more cryptic he is....the more speculation it causes.

If anyone of us were in the same situation....in our own lives....all of our friends and acquaintances would want to be knowing or talking about what they think they know....about us.

Same with him....only in his case....it's not just friends and acquaintances ....it's the whole world.

Personally....I have way too much else to worry about than what's going on in Tiger Woods' life... ::)
Just hand over the chocolate...back away slowly...far away....and you won't get hurt....

Save the Earth... it's the only planet with chocolate.

"My therapist told me the way to achieve true inner peace is to finish what I start. So far I've finished two bags of M&M's and a chocolate cake. I feel better already." – Dave Barry

A balanced diet is chocolate in both hands.

I think you have figured it out. And she was whomping his dome with that 4-iron trying to wake him up. That's gotta be it.

I've always admired Tiger, and I expected that Team Tiger would have the benefit of the best PR advice in the world. Instead they have completely botched it. He badly needs the team that helped Slick Willie with all his bimbo eruptions.
