Title: Yet another reason to boycott COKE
Post by: old dog 2 on July 28, 2021, 07:03:08 PM
Members of a congressional panel urged U.S. corporations including Coca-Cola Co. and Visa Inc. to pull their sponsorship of the 2022 Winter Olympics unless the games are moved out of Beijing, adding another pressure point in the strained relationship between the world’s two biggest economies.

Paul Lalli, global vice president of human rights at Coca-Cola, said the companies aren’t involved in selecting host locations for the Olympics.

“We support and follow the athletes wherever they compete,” Lalli said.

It's been several months since I quit Coke after over half a century of "addiction".  This seals the deal for me.

Wow.  Not extremely surprised, cause as Abraham Hamilton III says, "the world is gonna world" and a business goes where the money is, but still, wow.

Coke is at least more historically consistent than most leftists.

I don't think Hunter Biden will ever stop using coke.

Well, after these olympics you will probably be the only ones watching.

I am proud to say I haven't touched a Coke (or Pepsi) in years.  I found a great replacement called "Zevia".  No artificial ingredients, no coloring, no high fructose corn syrup.  It's pretty good, too.  That, and sparkling water.  Tastes like TV static, but once you get a taste for it, there's nothing quite like it.
