Can't argue with the logic. If McConnell/Schumer (they're both fundamentally the same, but the Turtle is reportedly "fed up" with Trump and floated a trial balloon about him voting to convict Trump in a Senate trial) actually want to conduct an impeachment trial after Trump leaves office, why not impeach Biden for his criminal acts when he was Veep?

I like MTG a lot, but that gesture was just political theater. Do you honestly think that articles of impeachment are going to be filed on a Democrat president by a Democrat House of Representatives? Whatever it was that MTG drew up found its way into the circular file.

Yes, there has been at least one other such attempt recently, by Bob Gibbs.
I seem to recall dems did the same thing early in Trump's presidency (long before the two that actually passed the House and went to trial in the Senate).

I seem to recall dems did the same thing early in Trump's presidency (long before the two that actually passed the House and went to trial in the Senate).
Agreed that the Dems flailed their arms and submitted articles of impeachment on DJT early on, but again, that's all political theater. What got the thing jumpstarted for the Dems was the "perfect" phone call between Trump and the president of Ukraine - forgot his name. They jumped on it because of the election and thought they could use it to destroy Trump. It was partly successful - they impeached him, but failed to convict.
The biggest element was the lame stream media's complete news blackout on Hunter Biden's laptop and the influence peddling that Gropey Joe was into AND, let us not forget, the rigged election itself.

It's called "United States House Select Committee on the January 6 Attack". the originally planned "1/6 Commission" was filibustered in the Senate. (Score 1 for The Turtle).
The House Select Committee is bipartisan :rotf: :rotf: :rotf: :rotf: Republicans represented by Liz Cheney and Adam Kinzinger two of the biggest Trump haters in Congress. In truth it is a fishing expedition, they"re trying to subpoena everything under the sun to find support for their phony narrative.

Only one problem with the "commission." They can't impeach a former president. The entire objective of this "commission" is to deflect from the complete and total failures of President Asterisk and his gang of thugs. Asterisk can't even blow his nose without eating it so in order to draw attention from that disgusting practice, they want to spend money on stupid shit that has no bearing on anything other than the FBI's complicit participation. And THAT, of course, is not to be broadcasted. Right, MSNBCNN?

well, its no wonder Congress not long ago got a 12% approval rating
12% of the US doesn't know much what's going on in any case... more than 12%
so, really, if you only polled intelligent people... 0%?
