Nebraska is Ford country

No link, just something I found in the Omaha World-Herald a couple of days ago, about the motor vehicles purchased using the "Cash for Clunkers" giveaway.

Toyota appears to have been the largest beneficiary, with 18% of the total motor vehicles sold under the program.

top 3 states (Toyota)

California 28%
Hawaii 26%
Massachusetts 24%

bottom 3 states (Toyota)

Nebraska 11%
Michigan 6%
Alaska 4%

Ford was next, with 13% of the total motor vehicles sold under the program.

top 3 states (Ford)

Michigan 28%
Nebraska 19%
Kansas 19%

bottom 3 states (Ford)

Nevada 9%
New Hampshire 7%
Hawaii 7%

Chevrolet was the third largest seller, at 13%.

top 3 states (Chevrolet)

Michigan 26%
South Dakota 23%
Iowa 21%

bottom 3 states (Chevrolet)

Colorado 7%
California 6%
Hawaii 3%

As one probably sees, the blue states didn't come through for union labor, other than Michigan.
