Harry Truman, on Republicans, said 70 years ago. Still relevant today.

"Republicans approve of the American farmer, but they are willing to help him go broke. They stand four-square for the American home — but not for housing. Now, my friends, that is the Wall Street Republican way of life. But there is another way — there is another way — the Democratic way, the way of the Democratic Party."

6. Truman was awesome

I read this book a few years ago, Truman by David McCullough and I learned so much about the man.

Did you learn this?

 I think one man is just as good as another so long as he's honest and decent and not a ****** or a Chinaman. Uncle Wills says that the Lord made a white man from dust, a ****** from mud, and then threw what was left and it came down a Chinaman. He does hate Chinese and Japs. So do I. It is race prejudice I guess. But I am strongly of the opinion that negroes ought to be in Arica, yellow men in Asia, and white men in Europe and America.

Kind of strange they have forgot to hate on the USA.
