I could never be vegan because I LOVE cheese, milk, and butter too much. But I could totally be a vegetarian.

I think if you do it right, you can be healthy. Sounds like she is bulimic/anorexic. Awful. That'll kill you alright.

Oh, that's terrible about your co-worker, EC.  I think the most common occurence is a heart attack.  That's what got Karen Carpenter. 

I just think if you went vegetarian like the DUmmies are talking about, you'd go through life feeling starved.  That's no life.  I once went on a cabbage soup diet, like right before bathing suit season.  It's a tomato based soup that you've added all kinds of vegetables to.  You can eat all you want.  I nearly fainted from weakness.  So I said, **** that, and had a damn burger.

I've tried diets like that, but end up pigging out on a Whopper the next day because I am starving.  It's just best for me to stick to a 1,200 calorie diet (with anything I want to eat) and exercise.  It's not like you lose weight really quickly, but I average about two pounds a week.

I've asked a few "vegans" why, if the the lifestyle so good, do they have to use supplements?  I never hear a good rebuttal.

Yeah, well, you're from Vermont.  You have to eat hummous and pita at Moonbat Central.  That stuff is more boring than watching paint dry.  I was married to an Arab for 20+ years, and always with the freaking hummous.  Can't stand stuffed grape leaves, either.

Reminds me of when we were stationed in the DC (shithole) area and I insisted Dear Hubby buy himself a new Hyundai Accent.  Our investor called and persuaded me to up his life insurance another 50K.
