While reading all about the "mystery tapes" from Bernie Sanders' trip to the socialist paradise of the workers and peasants back in 1988, where he gallivanted around with everybody excepting authentic workers and peasants, it struck me that it'd be a good idea if everyone hung onto his guns.

I won't be around to see it, but one day the socialists will take over America and institute a dictatorship of the proletariat.

The first thing they're going to do is insist, "Okay, we need some some policy-makers, some planners, some managers--the intellectual types. And then we're going to need people to do the work; the non-thinking manual types.

"The first group's gonna be really tiny and exclusive, and because brain work demands better food than manual work, they're going to get caviar and champagne, while the other, much larger group, is gonna get gruel."

After which those with guns could step in and decide who's going to be who.

I absolutely cherished your memories of your time in the land of workers and peasants.  Sadly,  I find myself busy as a dog a flea convention.  Could you re-post some of them if you have time?  You are exactly right in your analysis; however, every DUmmy believes they will be the elite, not realizing they are the useful idiots.  It only takes ten percent my mother always said.  DUmmies all think they are that ten percent.  The rude awakening will come to them too late.

Yes they do.  And every one of them who was raised without household servants thinks they came from modest circumstances despite a standard of living that was science fiction in their own parents' lifetimes.
