Having been on a few juries in the past, I would dismiss her testimony in a flat second.
“The national budget must be balanced. The public debt must be reduced; the arrogance of the authorities must be moderated and controlled. Payments to foreign governments must be reduced, if the nation doesn't want to go bankrupt. People must again learn to work, instead of living on public assistance.”

Not that it's hard to predict dogs eating out of the cat box.

When they watch COPS and America's Most Wanted, the fact that the perps are better than 40% of the show, while only being 12% of the population, makes it a white conspiracy and racist!

Exactly Chris. It should suck to be poor in my opinion. I grew up fairly poor. It made me want to get an education and not be poor. I do understand that there will always be a certain percentage of people that will be habitually poor for whatever reason... but for the most part, anyone with full mental processes can rise above being poor. Some of the wealthiest folks I know have no college education. What they have is a trade. Plumbers make darn good money. A good mechanic can make some good coin. A friend of mine growing up has 5 pawn shops and makes big bucks.

There is success out there for anyone that decides to work for it.

Sitting in your section 8 housing and waiting on the government welfare check is not going to make anyone successful.

Can't have that! The DemoncRats would run outa voters!

Marv--I hope your entire post was sarcasm and not just your last line.

Now, were I the DA in this case, would I have charged Zimmerman with murder?  No.  Manslaughter, maybe, based on the extent of the injuries Trayvon inflicted upon Zimmerman before he was shot.  Even that might be a stretch given that Zimmerman had blood on the BACK AND FRONT of his head and a broken nose as a result of the beating inflicted upon him.

But the DA, having overreached, brings this "star" witness in, who turns out to be more of a liability than anything else to the prosecution's case.

If you had to go to the jury now, Zimmerman is going to walk.  Basically, my whole impression of her testimony was, "This is the best you got?"

One does not have to sustain any level of injury to claim self defense. One only needs to think that eminent harm is coming their way. George took a lot of injury prior to using his weapon.

P/S/ It was another bad day for the prosecution. All of their witnesses confirmed George's story. Also VNN put out his SSN and address on air. I think old George is going to be a 1%er after he gets done with all the media companies.
When you are the beneficiary of someone’s kindness and generosity, it produces a sense of gratitude and community.

When you are the beneficiary of a policy that steals from someone and gives it to you in return for your vote, it produces a sense of entitlement and dependency.

Also during one of Zimmerman's recorded testimonies, he said Trayvon was reaching for his weapon. He said afterward he pushed Trayvon off of him got on his back and pushed his hands out to his sides.

I had wondered how Trayvon gotten his hands back under him since the media and social networks kept saying Trayvon died instantly.

I went to wikipedia for Zimmerman...in the autopsy section it says Trayvon probably lived a few seconds. In that time he could have pulled his hands under him.

Guess we have to wait for the coroners's testimony to know for sure.

I think the very expensive lesson of this trial will be 'forcing a D.A. to prosecute a case when he or she feels there is inadequate evidence to do so is stupid - and in some cases dangerous.'

Maybe the prosecution is throwing the case. I would say the overcharging may also be in Zs favor.

There's no men on the jury either.  What about it, DUmmies?

Why are they so racist in their fight against racism?
The same reason they're sexist and racist when it comes to their "fight" for whatever -ism they're pushing.  It isn't so much about elevating the individual as it is pushing the liberal agenda.

It's pretty obvious why there are no black people on the jury. Most of them found him guilty five minutes after the news broke of the incident. They didn't care about the facts then, and they don't now.

The DUmmies twisted themselves into knots profiling Zimmerman as a "white Hispanic".

The voir dire process gave them exactly that: a jury made up of a white Hispanic's peers, reflecting the ratio of Whites to Hispanics in the United States.

I think they'd be happy about it.

Paradoxically, the DUmmies would have only been happy if the jury was made up of six members of the Black Panther Party.

I am still waiting for the other shoe to drop. The shoe that Trayvon was in some way connected to the rash of burglaries that had been going on.
There were only two options for gender. At last count there are at least 12, according to libs. By that standard, I'm a male lesbian.
