I don't know why Sgt. Crowley is going to the White House for a beer with Obama and Gates. That would be an awkward meeting, to say the least. Having a beer together suggests a degree of friendship among all three which I would think would be absent. Unless and until Obama makes a proper retraction and apology, I would think Crowley would have nothing to do with him. Yes, I am sure Crowley is getting pressured, but I would hope he can resist it. The whole thing is an transparent attempt by Obama to sweep everything under the rug, and I don't think Crowley should cooperate.

It seems to me a proper Irish Bostonian would have a good suggestion about what Obama can do with the beer.

Strangely enough, he and the Cambridge, Mass., police officer who arrested him, Sgt. James Crowley, both trace their ancestry back to the legendary Niall of the Nine Hostages.

In a PBS series on African-American ancestry that he hosted in 2008, Gates discovered his Irish roots when he found he was descended from an Irish immigrant and a slave girl.

O, the irony! Dr. Henry Louis Gates is Irish and half White, like Barack Obama. He is even related to Sergeant James Crowley through Nial of the Nine Hostages. 2 percent of New Yorkers are descendant of Nial of the Nine Hostages.

The RUMOR circulating is that professor Gates has got some kid of "foundation" that he operates from his house, that gets lots of $$$, and is suspicious, which is why having police in his house caused his frenzy......I stress this is only a RUMOR.....

Well, the rumor has been confirmed. Gates does indeed own a foundation that gets big bucks for some kind of black studies. Where the bucks go is suspicious.

I'm just impressed with the agility Teh Ã˜ has to demonstrate every time he does put his foot in his mouth. Colons are tight places to begin with, and with his head already firmly lodged all the way up there, there can't be that much room to maneuver that gunboat of a foot as well.

Is 0Bama showing that he is the leader? I think he should have walked on the other side of Gates, at least while coming down the steps.

Sergeant Crowley, the sole class act in this trio, helps the handicapped Professor Gates down the stairs, while Barack Obama, heedless of the infirmities of his friend and fellow victim of self-defined racial profiling, strides ahead on his own. So who is compassionate? And who is so self-involved and arrogant that he is oblivious?

Nope. It's the difference between a good man, and egotist who thinks only of himself. 0Bama being a rookie White House occupant, has nothing to do with how he treats other people.

He was taught how to treat people by the likes of 'Reverend' Wright, Saul Alinsky and William Ayers.

People are political tools to be used and then thrown away when no longer useful.
