2012 poll
« on: January 06, 2011, 08:53:11 PM »
Since I don't see Huckabee or Palin running, these are the three I predict will be the front-runners.

I'll start with Tom Tancredo, until somebody more conservative and "liberty restoring" comes along.

Palin has spent the past two years pretty much flushing any chance at a real run down the toilet.  She'll make a great cheerleader for the right candidate.

None of your choices are acceptable to me.  I'll write Sarah Palin's name on the ballot if I have to.

His, pretty much only, claim to fame is his staunch opposition to illegal immigration. Don't get me wrong, I like Tancredo. he'd make a great Homeland Security guy, but he seems to have tunnel vision. Herman is staunchly Capitalist.

BTW, Reb won't be voting for Herman because he's black. Only Dims do that. Reb will be voting because he's tired of career politicians and Herman has been a success in just about everything he's done.

I was not connecting the name to the face until seeing Kev's link.

I do like Mr Cain!!! I have seen him several times on various shows on Fox, and have been quite impressed with him.

I don't care if he's black, white, or green with pink polka dots...I just want to be assured that he can do the job. The color of his skin has nothing to do with his ability to be president.
Just hand over the chocolate...back away slowly...far away....and you won't get hurt....

You don't listen to Boortz?

If I'm in the car by myself, I will listen to talk radio. Otherwise, I don't. I can work to the tv and totally tune out to it, but I have never been able to have the radio, or stereo, on and do anything requiring concentration - especially anything involving numbers/math. When I had a private office at work, the overhead speaker was right outside my door, tuned to a local "easy rock" station, with no way to control the volume. I finally ended up getting a small tv, and keeping it on and the door closed, so I couldn't hear the speaker.  :(

If Boortz would get a tv show, it would be great. I do like him.

The democrats would say "they nominated Cain because they feel putting up a black man would make them appealing to minorities." Isn't that what they said when Steele became RNC chairman?

Cain doesn't identify himself a minority, or an African American, or anything other than a hard working American who is black. He does understand we've had our problems, and understands his heritage, but he's the first to defend the greatness of this nation. When I see Herman Cain, I don't see a black guy. I see a man that has been a success in everything he's done, and one that truly believes in the greatness and exceptionalism of this country. He should have won the senate over that Gang of 12 moron Johnny Isakson. You won't get a bunch of apologies for this country from Mr. Cain.

I will judge him 100% on his ideas, character, and how he conducts himself. However, I fear some democrats will just see him as the GOP's answer to Obama.

**** the Democrats. They won't be voting for him anyway, so what the hell do I care? Besides, they have NO room to talk. They elected an idiot with absolutely NO executive experience, NO private sector experience, someone who voted present on just about every damn thing in the state senate, someone who's school financing is VERY questionable (Occidental, Columbia, Harvard, really?), and someone who's own loyalties seem divided.

Herman Cain IS the answer to Obama. He's the exact OPPOSITE of Obama. ...but it has nothing to do with race.
