After media reports & experts warned for months that drastic & sudden cuts at the Nat Weather Service by Trump could impair their forecasting ability & endanger lives during the storm season, TX officials blame an inaccurate forecast by NWS for the deadly results of the flood.

Is there evidence - outside of Prog hatred - that emergency services availability/readiness was in the least affected by a supposedly incorrect weather forecast?
Is there evidence - outside of Prog hatred - that planning/scheduling - which was done over months and weeks before this storm - the camp was in the least affected by a supposedly incorrect weather forecast?
This may sound heartless - though it is not - but the phenomenon of Texas hill country getting full annual rainfall from a single storm dates back centuries or millennia.
Any DUpipo posting that these Texas/Fundie-kids and -parents got what they deserved?

I will admit that several cities in NorCal did not have fireworks displays .................. due to the massive explosion in the Esparto warehouse. Three displays were scheduled that I know of in the South SF Bay. Of these, one had to be cancelled, and two were unaffected (possibly other than having more viewers).
