Thank you very much for your warm welcome.  I must say you folks are much more tolerant and accepting than DU.  I lasted less than ten posts there.  The funny thing is I am probably more liberal and been a Democrat longer than almost everyone there.

Guess I am not extreme enough for their tastes or use my own brain or my Obama shrine was not big enough.  Who knows.

As for me, I have been disappointed with a laundry list of issues concerning Obama's presidency.  I did not even vote for him in 08.  Instead, I went with Barr.  This year, I did not feel Obama did enough to deserve another term and that I would vote Republican if Paul, Cain or Huntsman won the GOP nomination.  Sadly, none of them did and there is no way I am voting for Romney.  I was fully prepared to go ahead and cast my vote for Obama at that point, despite his many failures, but my final straw was just recently when he praised Morsi and the Muslim Brotherhood.

So, seeing I am a registered Libertarian and Huntsman will most likely be representing them on the ballot this election year, he will be receiving my vote.

IOW you are voting for Obama.

Yeah, I'm pretty much a "defeat Obama" voter.

I wanted to vote for Palin, but she didn't run...

So I planned to vote for Cain (racist that I am  :whatever: ), but he was slandered out of the race before my state's primary...

So I voted for Santorum...and then he dropped out.

So I've had my shot at picking my affirmative choice, and am left with only one goal...defeat Obama.  My only realistic choice is the Republican nominee.

Looks like that's going to be Romney, though literally anything could happen.

Which puts me at odds with you.

But I don't take it personally, and so, welcome to the cave.

I do hope you brought the flux capacitor...

Yeah, this is a year where you can't have a write in or some other. It has to be Obama or Romney. The main mission is to remove Obama, and the only way to do that is to vote for Romney. It is sad, and believe me, there are things I don't like about Romney, but I will just hold my nose and vote him to remove Obama. Besides, I don't think anyone can do as bad as Obama has. Of course we will soon find out.

That is what they are saying. For the 30th anniversary, they want to re-release it in 3D. I think that movie would absolutely rock in 3D! Of course, we will have to wait and see.

Realized I made a mistake.  I stated I intend on voting for Libertarian Jon Huntsman.  Meant to say Gary Johnson.  Johnson is the Libertarian candidate this year.

I really like Johnson a lot.  Really was wishing he would have won the GOP nomination, but sadly, never had a chance.  He did phenomenal things as governor of New Mexico, and while I do not agree with him on all the issues, he possesses a great deal of logic and is grounded in common sense.

You don't seem to be aware the danger that a second owebuma team poses to the American way of life. But maybe you don't care very much about the American way of life.

To be fair, that depends on the state Comet lives in. Romney is a lock here in Kansas; Obama is a lock in Massachusetts.

Ordinarily I would agree, but Obama has been horrible, I would think there was a chance in a State that elected Brown to Kennedy's seat.

I tend to think that Massachusetts is already locked for Obama as well. But if by some strange miracle he would lose that state, I would be elated! A republican hasn't won that state since 1984 with Reagan. In fact, in the last ten elections it only went Republican twice. They were with Reagan on both of them. Seeing that they went Republican after Jimmy Carter, and Obama is the second coming of Jimmy Carter, it is very possible that Romney might get it this year. That would be awesome!
