So what does everyone here think about Global Warming?

I think it is a natural occuring phenomenon, and while people/industires, ec, can contribute to it(minimally), I don't believe it is the crisis algore makes it out to be.
I think buying "Carbon credits" is a crock of crap.

I'll also add that there was once an ice age. The earth goes through cycles that man alone has had nothing to do with, so Al Gore can shove it.

How anyone takes this new cult serious is beyond me. They have every corner of the spectrum covered. Too cold? Global warming. Too hot? Global warming. Too wet? Global warming. Too dry? Global warming. Very active hurricane season? Global warming. Missing the mark SEVERELY on hurricane predictions? You guessed it, global warming.
That's not a science. That's a cult. When you completely discount other people's research and disagreements and say things like the debate is over....when there WAS no debate, it's not science. It's a political agenda.

lol, I couldn't agree more. Esp since I am a weather geek at heart. You know the assertion that global warming is fueling the hurricane season is absurd, and it's even more absurd that people think that the arctic will be the only liveable place in a few years. It's nuts. Human caused CO2, may be bad but it doesn't even rival natures amount. We should care for the enviroment though.

Right now, it's 20 degrees with a windchill of 9. The overnight low was 4 degrees.

While I agree that we could pursue ways to live cleaner, I think it's mostly a bunch of crap. I remember when I was a kid, the big hype was chloro-fluoro-carbons, or some such nonsense. My Mom was in danger of not being able to get her favorite hairspray because it was destroying the ozone layer.
When was the last time we heard pissing and moaning over the ozone layer?

Even if I was to grant that the earth was warming - which I don't - I don't believe human activity has any measurable impact.
