So...after 30 years my espresso machine finally clicked the can
Since small appliances no longer really last (that one did, another era) I got a bialetti stove top espresso maker. It works, very well...like my Melita...
It also works buying already-ground coffee.
That way, if the coffee grinder's clicked the can, it doesn't make any difference; one still has ground coffee.

1. I have a commercial espresso machine
It has broke a couple of times and I've repaired it. I've also modified it with electronic boiler control. You can repair most real pump type espresso machines, but after 30 years on a consumer grade machine you've probably got your money's worth.

2. I am sure I did.
The bialetti will last a lifetime.
And it was good espresso.

If we decide to go camping.
Question.
When the oblate spheroid goes camping, one assumes she and the husband take a tent.
Normally, a pup tent would suffice.
But this is the oblate spheroid after all; one wonders if she uses a second-hand three-ring circus tent bought from Ringling Brothers-Barnum & Bailey.
