primitives misrepresent meaning of scriptures

Again these so called "Christians" have no idea what Christ stands for!

Matthew 25:35 For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, 36 I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.' 37 "Then the righteous will answer him, 'Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? 38 When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? 39 When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?' 40 "The King will reply, 'I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.'

Here is a great website promoting this as why Christians should support Obama and healthcare reform.

This primitive falsely believes Jesus is apparently talking about gov't taking care of the hungry, the thirsty, strangers, etc...  Jesus was talking about individual Christians and their responsibility to help others, it's not enough to be some second or third party participant.  It seems the primitives have this false notion that God will consider taxes paid to a gov't in order to feed the hungry, give drink to the thirsty, to help strangers, etc... to be acceptable in complying to this command, and it's not.

Really primitives, if you're going to try and use the words of Jesus to point out to Christians what they should and should not be doing, properly discerning what is said is the first step.  Whenever you use scriptures incorrectly, as the amy numbers primitive has done in this case, it destroys any hope to send whatever message you were trying to make.

You've been warned enough about this.  Time for you to grow up and apply what we've told you.

Because third world peasant labor is a good thing.

That this passage is taken out of context and misinterpreted is obvious, can`t expect anything else from DUmmies.
That they will still throw the Scriptures that they don`t like about homosexuality away and in a general sense will curse any word that has "Christ" in it unless a vulgarity is telling who is their master.

They are definitely for being on the receiving end of the loaves and fishes.  God is grand when you're getting free swag, but we all know what DU really thinks of Christians.
This post is disruptive, hurtful, rude, insensitive, over-the-top, or otherwise inappropriate.

It's no use, USA4ME; the primitives freely chose to be ignorant.

You've got the defrocked warped primitive, for example, who has this impression God is an old bearded white man up in the clouds.  I have no idea where the unfrocked warped primitive got this idea, especially since we were both schooled (her much earlier than I) in the Baltimore Catechism, wherein there appears no Image of God at all.

And this ties in with the defrocked warped primitive's experience with men--first, her father, and then an allegedly abusive husband or boyfriend--plus all the little boys from when the unfrocked warped primitive was a little lass, making fun of her looks.

The defrocked warped primitive Hates God because she thinks God is a man, a male, much like those in her life.  That's pretty stupid of the unfrocked warped primitive.

Or you have the primitives in a recent discussion about "fearing" God, as if the word "fear" in 2009 has the same meaning it had in 1611, which of course it does not.

And this example you provided, where the primitives think that giving away other people's money was commanded by Christ, when in fact Christ commanded that one give away his own money.

The primitives are just being stupid about God, Christ, and charity, and I really suspect many of them know that, deep down inside.  But their hardened shell of Hate is so thick, the Truth can't bang its way out from inside.

It kind of seems like Obama's plan will put the final nail in Christian healthcare.  All it'll take is making abortion something required of all facilities.

Of course, in all the other ways, Christians will continue to stock food pantries, work in prison ministries, provide shelter for the homeless and abused, etc. etc.

I'm not as pessimistic as you seem to be, madam.

Hatred of Christianity, and attempting to "engineer" Christianity, is as old as Christianity itself.  But remember who always wins, in the end.

I did like George Burns portrayal of God in this movie.

2 Thessalonians 3:10      For even when we were with you, this we commanded you, that if any would not work, neither should he eat.

Hello DUmmies. Work on following the above verse. When you succeed at following it we'll discuss some other verses with you.

In the story of the Good Samaritan he saw the man laying on the ground and went to the senate immediately and got legislation passed so the next guy that, that happened to could get govt help.  :-)
I may not lock my doors while sitting at a red light and a black man is near, but I sure as hell grab on tight to my wallet when any democrats are close by.

A text without a context is pretext for a proof-text.

If you want them to stop Jesus' words just tell them Jesus was an Isreali.
According to the Bible, "know" means "yes."

From the Book of DUmmie.

8:3. I was hungry and I conned them outta food. I was naked and I conned them outta clothes. I was sick and conned them outta healthcare. I was in prison on drug charges and my lawyer conned them outta better treatment. I was homeless and I conned them outta a house. I was broke and bye then they were to so the con ended with us all hungary, naked, sick, homeless and in prison.
“The American people will never knowingly adopt socialism. But, under the name of ‘liberalism’, they will adopt every fragment of the socialist program, until one day America will be a socialist nation, without knowing how it happened.” - Norman Thomas, U.S. Socialist Party presidential candidate 1940, 1944 and 1948

"America is like a healthy body and its resistance is threefold: its patriotism, its morality, and its spiritual life. If we can undermine these three areas, America will collapse from within."  Stalin
