A lot of people seem to favor TSA. If you're one of them, what has TSA done to keep us safe?
Apart from sucking money needed elsewhere and giving warm fuzzies with virtuoso performances of Security Theater 3000, what have they done to make flying safer?
If you name something you think they've actually done that was worthwhile, score that value against all the delays, costs, silliness, invasions of privacy, stupid arrests, etc.
Basically, if you think TSA is a good thing, defend it.

Why do we have temporary public housing is tenants live in it for generations?
Why do we have food stamps when poor people are obese?
Why do we allow government to make healthcare more expensive with fewer choices?
Why do we have government pensions paid by people who will never collect a dime but have to pay to support those currently not contributing?
By do the richest people have to support a welfare state they are too rich to benefit from?
Why should I support liberalism when all it does is subsidize misery and sloth while destroying industry and it gives me nothing but except unending accusations that I'm a greedy hater?
Liberalism is just Charity Theater 300 meant to give people warm fuzzies and/or a free ride. It does nothing but suck money needed elsewhere and after spending nearly 15 trillion dollars on the "War on Poverty" it seems poverty has won because--like all wars--democrats prefer to play the quisling to feather their own nests.

BTW - just for the record: Yes, the TSA sucks. Until they start profiling (yeah, I said it) and until this nation makes a determined effort to kill and discredit jihadist we will not have peace, security or liberty.

The TSA makes it harder for them to sneak their pot and one-hitters on the plane. Never know when you're going to get patted down, ya know? I'm sure that pissed off those who were used to popping off a few rounds in the restroom at 30,000 feet.
