Abortion: can't forget history

http://archive.itvs.org/external/jane/release.html
http://www.fwhc.org/jane.htm

"...Appalled at the exorbitant procedure fees and upon discovering that their main abortionist wasn't a licensed physician, the women of JANE learned to perform illegal abortions themselves. Eventually, the underground collective performed over 12,000 safe, affordable abortions. Word of the illegal alternative was spread through word-of-mouth, cryptic advertisements, and even by members of Chicago's police, clergy, and medical establishment..."

"Historically, women around the world have tried to end their unintended pregnancies whether abortion is legal or not, often jeopardizing their safety and health by self-inducing or seeking a dangerous illegal procedure. While there is very little relationship between abortion legality and abortion incidence, there is a strong correlation between abortion legality and abortion safety..."

"...Prior to Roe v. Wade, as many as 5,000 American women died annually as a direct result of unsafe abortions... Approximately 219 women die worldwide each day from an unsafe abortion"

All abortions are unsafe, someone will die every time one is performed.

I may not lock my doors while sitting at a red light and a black man is near, but I sure as hell grab on tight to my wallet when any democrats are close by.

5000 versus how many millions of babies have been killed?  It wasn't a fair trade.

The Netroot folks applaud women who have had abortions, and hope to someday have a Planned Parenthood on every corner:  http://redalertpolitics.com/2012/06/10/netroots-nation-panelist-hopes-that-one-day-there-is-a-planned-parenthood-on-every-corner-in-america/
I could vomit.  I used to be fairly open minded on this issue, but this whole non-existent "war on women", support of gender based abortion, and glorification of abortion in and of itself have sickened me.

At a progressive conference for bloggers and activists, Netroots Nation, Debra Hauser, Advocates for Youth President, told attendees of a panel on sexual education and abortion that there needed to be a new “culture around abortion” in the United States.

“So you could put a Planned Parenthood– and I hope we do – on every corner in America, and you can have good sex education in the classroom, but if you still have a culture that says sex is negative, sex is bad, sex means death, sex means disease and dying, where we can’t deal with normal adolescent sexual development, where we believe that young people should just say no, then we can’t get to a place where young people can feel confident and comfortable going into that Planned Parenthood or using that information,” she said.

The bitch is making it sound that their chief purpose is sex education. BS. It's to make money from killing babies.
