USC-ND has usually been the last game for USC since the 1930's, mostly on even years

Yeah, I got around to looking that up; you're right.

For various reasons, I'd thought Southern California-UCLA was the traditional season-ender for those teams.

I'll bet JohnnyReb's wife is breathing easier, if only a little bit.

Ooops, Indiana-Penn State is end of third quarter.

The guy in the cubicle punched in the wrong numbers, indicating it was "final" a couple of minutes ago.-

Northwestern 23, Michigan State 20, final.

That is, if the guy in the cubicle at ESPN did it right this time.

USC-UCLA still end the season often on odd years but both are pretty good traditions.

Im sad that Texas has wimped out and refused to continue the rivalry with TAMU. Although I can understand not wanting to face Johnny Football.
Sure, I've been called a xenophobe, but the truth is, I'm not. I honestly just feel that America is the best country and the other countries aren't as good. That used to be called patriotism. -Kenny Powers

Is that what happened down there?

Texas screwed up everybody's rivalries again?

This go.com thingamajig on the ESPN scoreboard moves slow, but it could be my internet reception.

Thus far though, ESPN has had the best of the scoreboards I've tried.

The big 12 was doomed from the beginning its amazing it lasted as long as it did.

Yeah, it was.

There was nothing, absolutely nothing, wrong with the old Southwestern Conference.

All they needed to do was find someone to replace the disgraced Southern Methodist, and it would've been fine.

Wofford 7, South Carolina 24, possibly a final.

It looks as if the guy in the cubicle has a problem differentiating between "0:00 fourth quarter" and "final."

We'll see.

It wasnt really that bad of an idea, just structuring it so that OU, Neb, UT and TAMU got all the money was doomed to make it a weak conference.

Okay, I just checked.

Apparently Louisiana State is playing Mississippi State today?

I will reverse your Hi5/BS ratio if you EVER mistake Ole Miss with that farming school down in Starkganistan again.  :censored:
