2011 fantasy football
« on: July 21, 2011, 12:34:15 PM »

I'm going to start a keeper league. You will be able to keep 12 players for the following season.

It will consist of 10 teams. If all 10 teams do not have an owner, the unclaimed teams will be on auto draft. They will not be able to trade players. They will not fill empty slots during bye week. You will play them as they are. Teams with owners will play their teams as usual. The reason for this is to entice future ownership in the unclaimed teams. Either this season or next.

I would like to get at least 6 people to make a commitment to sign up. 10 would be great.

Remember this is a keeper league. I'm in one now and the strategy is a little different. My team last year was the pits. Two weeks before the season ended, I picked up Kolb from waivers.  :-) Stafford had 6 TD's and 1 pick in the 1st 2 games. He got hurt in game 3 and put on IR. I was going to waste a slot and pick him up when he got cut. The guy kept him on his roster. Point being is when your team is done for the year, you can still plot, plan and scheme for next year.

I'm thinking the fantasy league on NFL.com.

I'm open to any and all suggestions.

C'mon and give it a try.
Come to think of it, unions do create jobs. Companies have to hire two workers to do the work of one.

I'm going to join.  Good call on the keeper league.  I haven't been in a football keeper one in a while.

Damn I didn't see this until today. I ain't played FF for 8 years. I used to be a commisioner for our work league until all the owners retired.

If you got an unownered team let me know and I'll take it over. Don't care how bad it is. Still kick your ass.  :-)
