Boy! Canada is really choking! They have twice the talent of the U.S. They had a hard time with the Swiss the other day as well. Took a shootout to decide it! I have a feeling the Canadians think the gold is a foregone conclusion for them not good! They should not be having this hard of a time in the preliminaries!

Russia got beat down hard. Looks like the choking is over for the Canucks, for the moment anyways. Will be interested to see who they face in the next round, Slovakia or Sweden.  Just had to bench Marty and put Captain Lou in the crease.

And yes, I'm a Canuck fan, both in Olympic hockey and in real life. I'm strange.  :uhsure:

Did anyone see the accident the German women bobsledders had?

Amazing neither one was hurt. Brakeman ejected out at 80+ mph, and the pilot went updise down on her head!!!

Shocked the hell out of me. Glad I stayed up to watch. But I'd rather face Halak than Lundqvist. Going to be some good games tomorrow. Canada and US will end up playing for gold, unless something goes terribly wrong for one of them. Not sure who to claim there. Between Finland and Slovakia, I'd give the bronze to the Finns. Barely though.

I HATE watching this on PMSNBC. Every commercial break has Chrissy Matthews or Rachel Madcow or the like running their sucks in a self serving commercial. NBC blows.
