The conferences that matter:

Quote
Big Ten

Ohio State (10)  6-1 (conference)  9-2 (season)

Penn State (19)  5-2 9-2

Iowa (15)  5-2 9-2

Wisconsin (21)  5-2 8-2

Northwestern  4-3 7-4

Michigan State  4-3 6-5

Minnesota  3-4 6-5

Purdue  3-4 4-7

Illinois  2-6 3-7

Michigan  1-6 5-6

Indiana  1-6 4-7

Well, one can breathe a sigh of relief.

No Rose Bowl for Penn State.

Quote
Big 12 Top

Nebraska  4-2 7-3

Kansas State  4-3 6-5

Iowa State  3-4 6-5

Missouri  2-4 6-4

Colorado  2-4 3-7

Kansas  1-5 5-5

It's very unfortunate Kansas has to be below the penultimate cellar-dweller.

Quote
Big 12 Bottom

Texas (2)  6-0 10-0

Oklahoma State (17)  5-1 8-2

Oklahoma  4-2 6-4

Texas Tech  3-3 6-4

Texas A&M  2-4 5-5

Baylor  1-5 4-6

I'd really really really like to know what happened with Oklahoma.

Maybe it's time for Barry Switzer to unretire.

Quote
Pacific-10

Oregon (14)  6-1 8-2

Stanford (25)  6-2 7-3

Oregon State  5-2 7-3

Arizona (18)  4-2 6-3

USC (11)  4-3 7-3

California  4-3 7-3

UCLA  2-5 5-5

Arizona State  2-5 4-6

Washington  2-5 3-7

Washington State  0-7 1-9

The biggest disappointment of the season,

Oregon on top of the conference?  Oregon?

Quote
Southeastern East

Florida (1)  8-0 10-0

Georgia  4-3 6-4

South Carolina  3-5 6-5

Kentucky  2-4 6-4

Tennessee  2-4 5-5

Vanderbilt  0-7 2-9

One's left speechless that Tennessee hasn't done better.

Quote
Southeastern West

Alabama (3)  7-0 10-0

LSU (9)  4-2 8-2

Mississippi  3-3 7-3

Auburn  3-4 7-4

Arkansas  2-4 6-4

Mississippi State  2-4 4-6

Go Alabama!

Remember Bear Bryant!
apres moi, le deluge

We do not want Switzer back. I don't think I could handle all the shadiness again. What happened with OU was Bradford played about 1/2 game this season, an All-American TE and a big part of the passing attack tore an ACL in 2-a-days, O-line has had major problems (they were saying the other day on the radio that, since 2006, OU has had 23 players, and 11 of them whom were offensive Linemen, leave the team for health issues, transfers, academic inability, problems with the coaching staff, off-the-field issues, etc.), an All-American OT let his physical conditioning slide in the offseason. Now, since the NU game, 2 starting OG's are out for the season with a neck injury and an ankle surgery, plus, a starting DE is out for the season with a broken bone in his ankle. Plus, we still haven't found a consistant place-kicker.
