And I mean this post literally. Abusing the public with logical fallacies, lies, cruelty creates mass mental illness - psychic injury, trauma bonds - that endure and ripple through populations. Clearly 30-40% of America is not immune and has taken the bait. The purpose of fascism is to make the masses ill so they will follow and support the greedy and powerful, without realizing they are working against themselves. Political psychology is in its infancy. It will be plumbed in the next 100 years.
