If the Catholic church wants to delve into politics I think the Federal government, particularly the IRS, should delve into religion.

The new Wilmington bishop had not stated what he will do. The bishop of Washington, DC will definitely give Biden communion. What I’ve heard is Administration staff will make this a non issue.

False choice. Get rid of abusing priests AND deal with scandal-causing faux-Catholic pols. Both are over half a century late.

Well, I could mention other pols who used seeming association with churches for purely political purposes. One example would fulfill Godwin’s law, not that I think LIEden has sunk to that level.

This isn't just about using religion to pander for political gain.  These Democrats are telling the Catholic Church that their tenets do not apply to them. If a Catholic does not want to follow their rules, then the church has the right to punish them.
