Holy cow! Hope this is the correct place to put this.  Am doing it anyway! 

I tried to get a short explanation of the meaning of "chimera" online  to post, but gave up. I think we know enough of what it means anyway.

Heard on Fox News Prime Time tonight ...

Where someone said that "China is already doing it."

Just curious to know what you think of it .

Personally, I wouldn't put anything past China these days, if they think that it can possibly be used against us.

Even if they are attempting to do so ... 

Wouldn't it be far quicker  & cheaper (no grants needed) to simply clone a few members of DU ?

China lost the credibility to be believed about anything coming out of there.

If they did it, they're creepy or 'playing God'.  If they didn't do it, they'll brag anyway.

Yesterday they were congratulating themselves for creating a fake sun, at over a million degrees blah blah blah... but it was actually a failed experiment to recreate fusion. 

Now today, they're all-knowing zoologists, tracking a wandering herd of elephants engaged in a wonderous journey across the country, after they....................... wait for it............  escaped from a public animal-enclosure.

And fresh-off an orbital booster-rocket SNAFU, the country's sitting on a Three Gorges time-bomb.

Hitler's scientists would have done it if they were able.  This is pure evil. The Chinese Communist Party are just high-tech Nazis.  It reminds me of the movie "The Island of Doctor Moreau", watched one of the early productions ONCE.  I found it more disturbing than "The Exorcist".

I encountered a brown recluse spider last week. The best part was, the little bugger (they're not very big) was hanging out in a bucket that I have at the side of my shed - for dog poop.

Very fitting, I thought. 

And then yesterday, while walking the dogs in the woods, I encountered a dung beetle dragging a turd ball along the trail.

Between spiders, beetles, dogs, and turds, my life is complete.

Why shouldn't you be here in the pits with the rest of us, hmmm?   

Never did find the bloody spider, btw!  Hopefully it is going after Mr. ABC instead of me!  *evil-grin*
