5, 10 or 15 years? Heck, they don't know the side effects after one year. The vaccines haven't even been approved by The FDA after full clinical trials.
Those pimping the vaccines ignore the difference and pretend that an Emergency Use Authorization is equivalent to full FDA approval. It isn't.
Like you, I have no interest in being a lab rat for a vaccine that is still essentially an experimental drug.
The Moderna vaccine began Phase 1 tests March 16, 2020. Phase 2 was begun May 29, 2020. Both are more than a year ago.
BioNtech began Phase 1/2 tests April 29, 2020, also over a year ago.
Phase 1/2 tests of Johnson & Johnson's vaccine began June 10, 2020, a year ago.
If you count me as one "pimping" the vaccines, I do know the difference between Emergency Use Authorization and a Biologics License, and have
never pretended that an EUA is "equivalent" to a Biologics License.
Since how long ago the vaccines authorized for use in the US started testing appears to be news, is it also news that both Pfizer and Moderna have begun the processes that will soon result in receiving Biologics Licenses, i.e. full FDA approval?
