Gang members don't own guns?
What do they do? Rent them, and then return them after the shoot-'em-up for a deposit?
Considering how many of them have felony records that prevent them from LEGALLY owning a gun, your are just living a Mark Twain quote. Better to keep your mouth shut and let people think you're and idiot than to open it and prove them right.
Gang bangers get their guns from some street peddler, who got from a guy who snagged the gun in a robbery, and most likely, once the crime is done, the gun is then sold to another street peddler, or thrown in the nearest lake, river, vacant lot, ect. High power stuff is smuggled through the porous boarder by people who bought it from corrupt foreign (sadly, likely some not foreign) military groups who can just erase lines and say stuff went missing. The guns some do own legally that they show off on social media and their music videos are usually kept very separate from the ones used to do dirt.
Criminals don't care about your gun laws your morons.

That would be cool. Sad that the open thinkers once again eject those who challenge the hive mind, but hopefully those ejected learn from their bruises.
