Hello All!
« on: May 19, 2021, 01:02:14 PM »
I have been here 3 years and I do not recall if I actually ever did an intro post.

I am a middle aged white guy... Father of 4 plus one bonus daughter.

I am a Retired SFC 68WM6  (Army and Army Reserve) and a nurse in the civilian world.

I am originally from Kentucky, grew up in Southern Indiana, and ended up in Southern California by way of the ex wife.

I found conservative cave via Twitter. (no sheet). One of the Dummies was running for something in Florida; so I shared on twitter her DU handle and as many of her outrageous posts that I could find. She saw this and then ran back to DUmmie land to cry about it... The DUmmies then jumped on twitter to harass and harangue me. They didn't fare too well... but one of them wanted to know what my Cave username was.... I asked what they were talking about and they posted a link. So... here I am.

I have since been banned from Twitter. Liberals apparently can say whatever they want... but me suggesting that someone is the by product of an abortion that lived was a bit too far.

Anyways, ask away... what would you like to know?

Welcome, Kc25. (We already have a KC in our ranks, so I can't not use your full screen name. LOL)

I am one of the few CC'ers who doesn't give a rat**** about DU, the progressive scum that hang out there, and I've never had a Twitter account.

Did I miss something somewhere?  :rotf:

There are those here that marvel at the stupidity that is but routine on DU and they regularly report it here, but of course you know that. I guess it's a little like watching a train wreck. You can't not watch it if you're in a position to watch it.

I'm a retired Army bandsman, and I have the hearing loss to prove it.  :-)

I can appreciate folks who want nothing to do with DU or Twitter... but as you said; their stupidity mesmerizes me. LOL

And Yeah, I noticed shortly after I registered, that there is another KC... KC25 is just an old game tag from WWIIOL (Which is just my initials and 25 for VFA-25--Im not very creative, lol)

So, were you like "Big Army Band" or a division band, or... how does bands work in the Army, lol, I don't know.

I was (and still am) a knuckle-dragging low brass player ostracized to the division and separate bands of the U.S. Army. I never had the ambition to do what it takes to meet the requirements of scoring a 3.0 (on the Navy's 4.0 GPA system) to qualify as a "special" bandsman, with the corresponding MOS identifier. I was too busy chasing skirts and doing the ancillary jobs that needed to be done.

Besides, who the hell wants to be able to play harmonic minor scales in B (2 sharps) in sixteenth notes at 120 beats per minute? (I didn't get to that level of skill until I retired from the Army.) LOL

Started playing bass trombone 10 years after I retired, and tuba 4 years after that. Since I didn't have to worry about Operations orders, supply requisitions, Letters of Authorization, and general shit like that, hey, I had all the time in the world to practice (and did) AFTER I was done with my civilian job.

Not likely -- unless you have a 4th valve that routes through your esophagus. And if you did, that sumbitch would be spouting all manner of bullshit because you don't have an f'n clue about what that valve does.

Lot of gay prostitution in Sweden.

Yeah, I wouldn't know about that.

Neither would I. This was back in the 80s when such things (gay shit) weren't really broadcasted. Though the way you're talking, it would seem that the gay angle was prevalent when you were there.

I'd ask if you enjoyed your gay experience, but I don't care that much to know.
