It is an urge and a want. Many men and women are celibate,because they don't want sex and have no urge for it.people can voluntarily go without sex for years.And they don't miss it.

Also fetishes/porn are not needs. They are substitutes for love to keep intimacy at bay.

People had sex before porn existed.Porn however does plenty to mess up sexuality and ruin intimacy for many.(not all).

As for rape,some men may argue it's their biological urge to spread seed around,there was a stupid book written alleging this shit. Well guys, I have the urge to castrate and/or kill rapists,I think my urges should be honored too. So, If you rape anyone, they have the right to hunt you down and kill you or remove your penis in any way they choose and you just have to man up and deal with the consequences of your 'uncontrollable urges'..How about that.As for issues of abortion,the man's say over this issue ends when he decides to put his penis in her,after that, it is the WOMAN'S Choice..what she does with the fetus.And the man who supplied the seed helps her raise it.

It isn't air, food, water, or shelter, so to that point I agree it isn't necessary.
