Do you know that there is a right wing forum who is a big fan of DU? (http://www.democraticunderground.com/10024137088)
while searching on Google, i stumbled upon a "Right Wing Forum". They have a whole section of the forum dedicated to DU where they discuss DU topics (GD, Breaking news etc)....they also comment on DU Members post...quote user's post with their name etc..etc..
To my surprise, that "DU Whining Section" is the largest and most popular forum section. They have almost 30k threads and 470k+ Posts in that section. No other section is greater and popular on that forum.
Seems right...all they want to do is whining and crying about what liberals are saying instead of concentrating on other things.
They may also notice this thread and start bashing...

Out here in the lonely Sandhills of Nebraska, there’s a certain pile of dirt that stands on the east side of franksolich’s house. It’s shaped, roughly, like a miniature alpine Jungfrau, and it presents quite a pretty picture at night whenever the moon rises from the east, and one’s sitting on the front porch.
To those not from around here, it’s just another hill or mound in the Sandhills, ho-hum. To natives of the Sandhills, well, they recognize it as a man-made phenomenon, but nothing more.
When franksolich moved out here the autumn of 2005, he noticed some peculiarities about the hill; it wasn’t quite like the other hills; for example, the foliage was somewhat different, and things seemed to stay green into December, and come out green again in February, later and sooner than other foliage around the place.
He inquired of someone ancient, who’d been a young boy here during the 1930s, and learned that there used to be a big barn adjacent, and that from 1875, when the place was first settled, until 1950, when the barn burned down, the people here raised pigs. The barn had to be cleaned often, and the swine droppings were deposited in a shallow “basin†which with the passage of years became rather protuberant.
After the barn burned down, it wasn’t rebuilt, as cattle rather than pigs were raised here.
Sometime when Ike and Mamie were in the White House, the odor evaporated, and sometime when Jackie and Jack were in the White House, the thing took upon the characteristics of just plain ordinary dirt, which it seems so to this day.
Even though it’s nearly 100% pure antique pig shit.
Upon learning this, franksolich took a cat-litter box that needed emptied, and tossed it upon the mound, baptizing it the “William Rivers Pitt.†The University of Nebraska came out to look at it the following summer, and using well-drilling equipment, collected samples from different layers, learning much about the diets and diseases of swine 1875-1950.
It’s supposed the William Rivers Pitt is circa 740 cubic yards of swine excrement, which is quite a pile (I’ll post photographs here when I move away; it’s a rather singular-looking thing, and I don’t want primitives stalking franksolich to find out exactly where he lives). The variegated foliage that decorates it is from seeds of things that the pigs were fed, that passed through their intestines undigested.
It’s an awesome sight, the William Rivers Pitt.

a higher awareness of particular poster's history than almost everybody who actually posts here.
The time that they invest in it is rather spectacular.
I try to remember to visit once a year to see who has bothered them the most in their annual competition, but where they were once moderately witty they have since become painfully tedious.

A year or so ago one of these DU threads intrigued me enough to go spelunking and search for my own name. Turns out I'm blasphemous.
While the characterization did make me genuinely laugh out loud, their obsessive stalking of DU is unbelievably creepy. Don't any of them have lives of their own? What would Sigmund Freud say? And the fact that some of them have made a point of amassing "dossiers" on individual DUers actually makes them dangerous -- truly, as some here have been harmed in real life.
In a way, I'm surprised this thread is still open. DU used to make a point of not mentioning them by name, in order to deny them hits on the google. But you have to admit that batting trolls around can be fun.

While the characterization did make me genuinely laugh out loud, their obsessive stalking of DU is unbelievably creepy. Don't any of them have lives of their own? What would Sigmund Freud say? And the fact that some of them have made a point of amassing "dossiers" on individual DUers actually makes them dangerous -- truly, as some here have been harmed in real life.
In a way, I'm surprised this thread is still open. DU used to make a point of not mentioning them by name, in order to deny them hits on the google. But you have to admit that batting trolls around can be fun.

I'm just finishing up on a college level English Composition class that I'm taking for personal enrichment. It is not an overstatement to say that the pitster doesn't write at even a good high school level. There are rules for composition which he seems to be unaware of. My professor would laugh at any one of his compositions. That doesn't mean that he would disagree with his message, but he would hand back any of his work marked with a R (redo). Short posts on an internet chat board are one thing but Pitts essay writing reprinted on DU for our amusement simply sucks from a literary perspective.

A year or so ago one of these DU threads intrigued me enough to go spelunking and search for my own name. Turns out I'm blasphemous.
This post intrigued me so I went and did a search to see just how prominent you have been in the past.
Out of all of the posting made, you are mentioned in less that 2 pages. In none of those threads were you the primary topic but just another DUmmy posting in the campfire of our primary target. In other words, just a obscure DUmbass that most people just skimmed over.

The place is like a train wreck of human thought; you just can't help but gawk at their twisted logic and wild-eyed conspiracy theories. I've even ended up becoming addicted to the site; anytime there is breaking news, I think, "I wonder what the nuts are saying about this," and head straight for DU. It's like a daily freak show. Yet, I've begun to tire of it, and I realized why. In the end, it's really just the same thing over and over. After careful analysis (two minutes thought), I think I broke down all the variance of opinion you'll ever see on DU and put into one imitated thread. They will often go on longer than this, but then it's a lot of the same posts being made over and over by other people.
The campfire has 2,222 primitive views, but only 58 primitive comments.
One wonders--again--why primitives, especially PoP, aren't commenting.
Their usual and normal cowardice, one reasonably supposes.

I would like to point out that hardly ever happens over here. I've noticed everyone over here is considerate about what someone else has posted. If someone does post the same thing, it's not intentional. I think the primitives betray how much they value their fellow primitives when they do this.Are you saying the Dummies are undisciplined little inconsiderate pigs ?
The other thing that happens over there is they will produce 30 threads on the same topic, rather than commenting on one that has already been started. If that happens over here, it's also purely by accident.
