How many of you have gotten permanently banned on DU and have had to create a new user ID?
I have been on DU since 2002.
I was mad at Obama when I thought he caved on public option ..I said something and BOOM I was banned.
I appealed many times - but to no avail.
It would be nice to get my Old Id back. Because while I am Le Gaucher .. I used to be someone else ..

1. Can't say I have, and I also don't know if this is the best thread to make...
Creating a thread in which you state you were banned, lost all your appeals and created a new username to beat the rules doesn't sound like something mods will take lightly.

If everyone can just create new handles after being banned, not really much point in banning anyone in the first place, is there?

The DU monkeys are all OMG'ing saying "SHHHH delete!" so I'll keep an eye on this one...

As little as I respect DUpipo intelligence, I doubt many will 'fess up to a ban-worthy offense. Maybe I'm wrong ...
