Yeah, the gothic primitive's a human tragedy, the way he turned out.

The guy's not stupid and he obviously has some charming quirks in his personality--the great big huge hulking blustery Texan--and probably was turning out okay in life until he became enamoured of the Democrat, liberal, and primitive ideology.

After which all good or interesting things about him crumbled into nothingness.
