Whats with the tricycle
« on: May 04, 2011, 06:08:18 PM »
This new tricycle they advertise on fox is interesting.   Two front wheels and one back wheel.

Ad says one can use it to get a motorcycle license .   Really ????

Wondering how it corners, does one have to shift their weight or lean into turns???

I cannot think of the name or the manufacture of this interesting ***** bike, anyone out there know what I am talking about???

Haven't seen it.

The Can Am is #*&$^ expensive.  $15k for a bike with two front wheels.  No thanks.

I've seen a ton of ads for these.  I think this is what you're talking about.

That's it.

As usual, I have no clue what vesta is talking about.

That's it.

As usual, I have no clue what vesta is talking about.

This bike  sounds great for bikers that have health problem that make the two wheel off limits to them.

They can still keep up with the pack, not have to worry about dumping it due to unexpected gravel or animals that dart out into the road.

What fun, even us old farts can tour with ease and comfort, keep up with the youth, and the front compartment is big enough to handle case of beer.

Fully dressed with a good paint job this baby looks like it could take you coast to coast with no butt burn.

The name of the Spider however reminds me of the crazy movie where a biker gang calling themselves the Black Widows  ended up in some hilarious situations.

Then there was Rob Petrie and the Tulip Gang from years ago.

Now, now, Dutch. Be nice you old Kraut!!   :hammer: :hammer: :hammer:   :tazeme: There ARE people with disabilities who could benefit from having a trike like that.

Vesta,

There is a guy that has one of these up at my work, and he cannot pass the motorcycle riding portion of the license test with it.  Supposedly, he was the first one in the state to try to use one of these on the test.  They haven't adapted the cone slalom to where you can clear them, even at full lock, without hitting them/going over the line, or however you pass the test.

It looks hideous, too.
