Yup, this one is a special kind of stoopid (deliberate misspelling). And, it's a short one.
Professor: We Used 'Too Much Force' Capturing Boston Bombers
April 22, 2013
City University of New York Professor Ruth O'Brien complains in an op-ed that "too much force" had been used against Boston Marathon bomber Tamerlan Tsarnaev, who was killed by the police.
She writes:
Now we have captured the two terrorists from Chechnya who come from the troubled region that is Muslim, but we cannot understand their motives, not yet. And Obama encourages us to refrain.
This said, the mortuary pictures of the older brother of the two are extremely disturbing, raising questions as to whether the Boston Police Department captured him with too much force. I understand the explanation offered by Katharine Q. Seelye, William H. Rashbaum, and Michael Cooper. Yet, it does not ring true. A picture is worth a thousand words that will keep our ears ringing as we recoil from this photo. Images have a way of searing themselves into our memory in a way that can’t be undone. We have an emotional memory, not just a rational one that is exemplified by words.
I'd hazard a guess and think that the families of those killed and wounded by these two might beg to differ with the 'good' professor. Is it the intrepid PhDD (hat tip to Snugs)?

Monday-morning quarterbacking by the intellectual elite usually results in finding out that those doing the quarterbacking were doing shots/doobies when the actuals were happening.
This kind of comment finds its way into the circular file, along with the hangover/munchies.
-
I think the "excessive force" came more from little brother running him over with an SUV than the gunshot wounds he received.
-
:argh:
What about the force these two used at the marathon?
So the cops are just supposed to sit there while bombs and grenades are thrown at them? Geeze these people do not live in reality.

To Liberals...that's the fair thing to do.

:panic:
Oh blah blah blah. What's she going on about? I thought the pic was freakin great! No recoil here.

It's a shame little brother wasn't driving one of those "low rider" cars....big bro would have looked like he had been shredded on a cheese grater.

yeah, perhaps we should have talced their scrotal sacs.

That's why they didn't pull this shit in Uncle Vlad's "New Russia"

He should have been dead way before his "run in" time.

Enough is enough, Universities should be renamed; Lunatic Asylums. :stoner:

Sometimes you have to put a rabid dog down by any means necessary.

Little brother should have run over him with a hybrid.

Agree, and to the woman who calls herself a "professor" when in reality, she shouldn't be professing anything at all: I'd be lying if I didn't have a little bit of satisfaction within myself when looking at that photo.
The only good terrorist is a dead terrorist.

She's the typical Ivory Tower type. Published lots of "Wymns" books and how Amerrika is soooo horrible to the rest of the world.
A bit of stupidity:
The United States that I love hunts down terrorists AND follows human rights during capture. Giving the worst criminal or terrorist the most dignity during captivity shows why we should not be feared as a nation and is the best antidote to terrorism.

If I was in charge of captured terrorist, I wouldn't handcuff them. I'd put their nuts in a 60 pound shop vise, clamp down real tight and just let it hang there.....kindda like the old ball and chain from the days of old. If he wanted to move about, he would have "carry" that vise swinging between his legs. That ought to slow them down a little. I won't go into details of what I would do for female terrorist but you can bet your sweet ass it would be just as bad for them.

A long-handled pitchfork. Uh....the handle of which used in a delicate area?

I would have a preference for using the other end of the pitchfork.

Well, yeah, but that creates a bit of a mess when all you're trying to do is immobilize her.
Use the handle -- it's cleaner.

:lmao: :rotf:
It's the right thing to do! H5!

That's the Boston Police official line, which may prove to have a high CYA content after all the holes are counted and the post-mortem gets released. But as long as someone is armed and still actively resisting, there really isn't such a thing as 'Too much force' or 'Too many bullets.'

Right on! As long as they're moving and still holding a weapon, keep shooting.
-
Not enough was used.
One survived.

The only good terrorist is a dead terrorist who has been irradiated by nuclear radiation.

Larry Elder (L. A. radio host) had a professor on yesterday that sounded like she could be a member of the DUmp. My head was spinning and so was Larry's.
