Selling our house

We've had two realtors visit us to inspect and tour our home. On monday we'll get the results from the realtor who looked at it yesterday.

Both realtors are high sales people, and both say that we should get more than the $167,000 or place is assessed by the county.

We have about 8 places to look at up in the Kenosha area.

Main goal: Get the hell out of Illinois. We're not afraid of snow.

More as things develop.

Good luck with the buying & selling.  We have friends down here in TX going through the same thing & they are having trouble with financing on both ends.  The banks are just about crippled by the new Dud Fwank Law.

We'll have the cash in hand before we buy anything else. Our credit rating is over 700 (never been late for any payment, never bounced a check in almost 49 years of marriage), but that's what the BUYER needs.

I'll try to post the link to our home when the realtor (either one) put's our house online, with videos and photos.

Our house will be listed either later today or tomorrow. The agent took lots of photos.

We only get snow about once every 100 yrs. down here in TX and, it snowed five years ago.  Something to think about.

I know. But my wife cannot tolerate heat and humidity. She bitches when the temperature nears 80O.

There is that.  My wife and I were both born and raised in Mich. but, it only took us about 25 years to acclimate. Now anything below 50 and we hide inside.

House is on the market for $179,000. That's just the way it is, after the bubble has burst.

Zillow is wrong. Not 3 baths, but 1 and 1/2 baths.

Sue told us that it'd appear almost immediately on the 'net. Thank you for the links!  :-*

There will be additional indoor photos taken tomorrow, and also pics of our small barn with a hayloft. And perhaps a video virtual tour.

ADDENDUM: Unless you count the trees, which serve a purpose as pissing bathrooms!  :rofl:
