In researching my new book, Ashli: The Untold Story of the Women of January 6, I discovered something unexpected: an alarming confirmation of my September 2022 article in which I argued that Educated Liberal Females (ELFs) are the single greatest threat to our enduring liberties.

My new book deals specifically with the ELF’s natural foes, the women of January 6. Among the ten women I profile is Dr. Simone Gold. Even before getting caught up in the events of that memorable day, Dr. Gold had set the ELFs on edge through her work with America’s Frontline Doctors, a group she founded.

An M.D. as well as a lawyer, Dr. Gold, 55 at the time, went to Washington not to protest the election but to address the issue of medical freedom. She had secured a permit to speak at a venue on the east side of the Capitol, but when organizers cancelled the event, Gold decided to give the speech on the Capitol steps. The daughter of a Holocaust survivor, she did not readily surrender her right to speak freely.

Standing at the top of the steps on the Capitol’s east side, Gold got swept into the building when the doors opened from the inside, and the crowd surged forward. Finding her way to the rotunda, Dr. Gold stood on the base of a statue to speak. Someone passed her a bullhorn, and several people came over to listen. Following her five-minute speech, she took questions. After twenty or so uneventful minutes in the Capitol, Gold exited the building, having seen no violence or vandalism.

Along with 1200 or so other citizens, Dr. Gold was hunted down by the FBI in the most sweeping series of arrests on American soil since the notorious Palmer raids of a century ago. Twelve days after January 6, roughly 20 agents came knocking at her Los Angeles door with a battering ram.

Meet the ELF or Educated Liberal Female or AWFUL (Affluent White Female Leftists). The enemy within.

Parents are feeling the worst about their finances in nearly a decade –  and experts say stubborn inflation is to blame. 

In a possible blow to President Joe Biden’s reelection bid, the percentage of parents with kids under 18 that felt OK financially fell to 64% last year, compared to 69% in 2022, the Federal Reserve reported on Tuesday –  the lowest level since data collection began in 2015.

Overall, the share of US households that said their financial health was OK fell to 72% last year, the lowest since 2016, according to the study.

The figure ticked down from 73% in 2022 and 78% when Biden took office in 2021.

The Fed survey of 11,000 adults, conducted in October of 2023, found that 35% said price hikes were the main source of financial worry, up from 33% the previous year.

Families are hit the hardest by inflation. It has gotten worse.

A University of Pennsylvania student who claimed she was left “homeless” when administrators kicked her off campus for participating in an anti-Israel encampment is the daughter of a wealthy Filipino family.

Eliana Atienza, 19 — who told the Philadelphia Inquirer she had nobody to turn to for help in the US after she was kicked off campus in early May — is the daughter of Kim Atienza, a prominent media personality in the Philippines who is partial to showing off his extravagant lifestyle online.

Her mother, Felicia Atienza, graduated from the Wharton Business School and has served as the president and CEO of several international schools over the years, according to the Washington Free Beacon.

The family enjoys flaunting their wealth on social media, with posts showing their extensive motorcycle collection, first-class flights with private showers and caviar service and hobnobbing with celebrities.

Yeah right.  

Can’t Make This Up: Oakland Replaces Traffic Lights With Stop Signs After Homeless Steal Copper Wire

Oakland city officials decided to take down a traffic light at a busy intersection after homeless people repeatedly stole copper wire from an electrical box that supplied power to the lights.

CBS has reported that city officials have since replaced the traffic light with a four-way stop sign to prevent thieves from stealing more copper.

The city of Oakland initially placed large cement blocks as barriers to prevent thieves from accessing the electrical box, but the barriers were quickly removed.

Locals familiar with the matter stated that a local homeless encampment extending from 12th Street to 17th and 14th Avenues has been using the electrical box as a power source for their electronics.

Oakland has taken down signals due to copper theft. They are replaced with stop signs. The stop sign will get stolen too.

Not in my area. Grocery prices have significantly accelerated upwards the past few months. I'd estimate 35-50% on manufactured food and 20% on produce, meats, and dairy.

Another government lie. Who you gonna believe  a democrat government that has been proven to lie or your own shrinking grocery bags and higher checkout totals?
