What Skill Sets You Apart From Everyone Else?

I have come to realize, at the age of 48, that I have no skills whatsoever, except, perhaps, the skill of asking inane rhetorical questions.

That you're 48 and have no marketable skills is fairly telling.

1. I can calm someone down from an anxiety attack/hyper ventalation

faster than anyone I know. Plus I am very good at getting people to go to the hospital (when they need to, but don't want to).

5. I have many skills that do not interest employers

For instance: Wise assness. Dark humor. And I'm psychic....or is it psycho, I can't remember which.

This shouldn't come as any great surprise to the long term reader.

11. You mean like being able to fart the alphabet?

I can't do that, but it would set me apart.

Good to see you're staying classy.

15. I'm pretty useless.

I can read music, roll my tongue and cross one eye at a time. I get along very well with cats. Other than that...

There's a reason why patriotism is considered a conservative value. Watch a Tea Party rally and you'll see people proudly raising the American flag and showing pride in U.S. heroes such as Thomas Jefferson. Watch an OWS rally and you'll see people burning the American flag while showing pride in communist heroes such as Che Guevera. --Bob, from some news site

How does one cross one eye? What is it crossing with, if not the other eye?

Isn't that what people make fun of Paris Hilton for, having a "lazy eye"?

I think I see the DUmmies's problem....they're learning impaired.....stupid.
“The American people will never knowingly adopt socialism. But, under the name of ‘liberalism’, they will adopt every fragment of the socialist program, until one day America will be a socialist nation, without knowing how it happened.” - Norman Thomas, U.S. Socialist Party presidential candidate 1940, 1944 and 1948

"America is like a healthy body and its resistance is threefold: its patriotism, its morality, and its spiritual life. If we can undermine these three areas, America will collapse from within."  Stalin

It's another way to post a "Woe is me, I lost my job and don't know what to do" thread.

With those stellar skill sets, I'm not surprised they lost their job.   :thatsright:

Let's see, I give a shit about my job and other people.  That alone would make me unique at the DUmp.

Get a load of Graywarrior....she's brutally honest.  What a strange old bird.  Didn't she contemplate counseling as a career?  Oh that's right, she opted for Art Education, right?

Those forks made me  :rotf:

As incredible as it sounds, the greywarriorette primitive has been a student for circa 40 years now.

She's found some way of manipulating things so as to get student loans in perpetuity.

It's crossing the vision lines, not the eye.  I can do it with each eye independent of the other.  It is a useful talent, too.  It enables me to appear crazed and psychotic when needed.  Nothing says "Crazy" like a wild unfocused eye.

I can turn my left eye inwards while my right eye stays looking forward. ....but only a DUmbass would consider that a "skill".
