milling an empty tree

It was probably in a grade-school science class I learned that some trees are hollow, but then as trees had little or nothing to do with my daily life--they're not a plentiful agricultural product in Nebraska--I forgot that fact until now.

youtubes of trees being cut down, their stumps yanked out of the ground, and their trunks milled can be rather hypnotic and mesmerizing if one is on those drugs dopers like but can't get, as compared with those of us who can get all we want, but we don't like them.
