Not a word about today’s activities has been whispered on Chick-fil-A’s feed even though CFA has been trending on Twitter off and on all day. As noted in the earlier post, the suspicion is that the company’s lying low about what’s happening in order to extricate itself from the front line of the culture war, but I wonder if today’s outpouring will draw some sort of recognition tomorrow. If Dan Cathy’s willing to tout the numbers to Rick Warren, presumably an official acknowledgment and thank you is on the way.

I waited until 8:30PM to go get my sandwich, thinking the lines would have subsided. Wrong.  It took me 50 minutes to get through the drive-thru, and it was kind of like a cross between a Tea Party rally and a restuarant after church on a Sunday.  I spontaneously decided to pay for the order of the car behind me. The driver hopped out, shook my hand, said God Bless, and said she was paying for the car behind her.  I hope it continued.  Best $14 I ever spent. 
This has got to be the biggest boycott #fail by the left of all time. #facepalm

If they liberals weren't such hypocritical bigots trying to ruin free speech on anything they don't agree with, then none of this would have happen. I don't feel sorry for the liberals in this at all. They brought it on themselves, and deserved every bit of it. My only hope is that it continues. Then maybe, just maybe, they will wake up and see that things don't revolve around them and their stupid beliefs.

Then again what happen with the dixie chicks, scott walker, and 2010 didn't make them wake up, so this probably won't either. I am sure tomorrow they will find something else they don't like and start the whole process over again.

I did not like the idea of some city governments seeking to ban Chick-Fil-A franchises due to the personal beliefs of the owners. My opinion would be the same with any business with any belief. Let the free market work!

One Savannah,GA CFA told the local news that they sold more in one day yesterday than any other day since they opened in '94. They showed lines on the news that were wrapped around the building and almost on the highway. If I lived in Savannah I would have eaten there yesterday, too.
