SHOCKER: Herman Cain Now Leading Rick Perry 28%-18% in New Zogby Poll UPDATE: Dennis Miller Endorses Cain, Invites Me* to Hang Out in HollywoodFrom Zogby: "Rick Perry has tumbled by more than 20 percentage points over the past month among Republican presidential primary voters and is now second to Herman Cain, who leads the field with 28%. Mitt Romney received little benefit from Perrys fall, garnering 17% of the vote for third place. . . .These results are from an IBOPE Zogby interactive poll conducted Sept. 23-26."
There's a reason why patriotism is considered a conservative value. Watch a Tea Party rally and you'll see people proudly raising the American flag and showing pride in U.S. heroes such as Thomas Jefferson. Watch an OWS rally and you'll see people burning the American flag while showing pride in communist heroes such as Che Guevera. --Bob, from some news site

While I certainly have some concerns regarding Cain's foreign policy experience, I do think he can be brought up to speed and in fact be a more credible candidate than Obama has demonstrated thus far. Has he said some questionable things? Yup, and they're going to be brought out.But all in all, I have no problem pulling the lever for Cain in February. Wouldn't THAT just make DUmmies heads asplode? A state that's 97 percent white voting for the black guy....
I get to vote for him first! I'm not worried about the foreign policy experience, or lack thereof. Hell, it's not like Carter or Obama had any.
Hell, so long as he's not selling the store to the enemy like Comrade Jimmuh did/Comrade Klintoon did/Comrade Barry is, I'll be estatic. In that regard, his experience as Godfather's CEO is more than sufficient.

Herman Cain is black? OMG!!!! I've only heard him on talk radio.... Damn. Now I will have to sit out the election.
While I certainly have some concerns regarding Cain's foreign policy experience,
That's what a cabinet is for. Last I checked, neither Reagan, nor Clinton, nor GW Bush, nor many of the others had foreign policy experience when they were elected. All these guys telling you what "they'd do" are doing nothing but paying lip service. They don't have the intel to make an informed decision right now. It's insulting to me when they do because I'm not some non-thinking, braind-dead Democrat. He's had a stellar, 40-year career making the right decisions and putting the right people in the right places. Bring Newt on as Sec'y of State. They're friends.
That's right. You surround yourself with people who ARE experienced with foreign policy. It's not something where experience is easily gained. Unless you're brain-dead Nadin and use the google.
Exactly. You pick people who aren't Marxist, terrorist sympathizers like Obama and his henchmen and hit the ground running.
Obama did keep around experienced people on foreign policy,
As usual, I think Rush said it best. Cain is rising to the top because he is consistently Conservative. Word is the next couple of debates will hit hard on foreign policy, so he could stand some polishing, but, otherwise, Herman is rocking it!
I stated quite awhile back that after Obama, I bet that the next black president to sit in the Oval Office would be a conservative one. I had no idea that it would be so soon and that it would come back to back.
I'm not worried about the foreign policy experience, or lack thereof. Hell, it's not like Carter or Obama had any.
Yeah, that turned out really well both times.
