That was painful to read.

(.......)

What am I saying? He's writing for his audience.

Exactly.  The DUllards have to tell these tales, from time to time, to make up for the disappointment they feel in their lack of sexual proficiency and/or opportunity.  The protagonist retard is all knowing and his foil knows absolutely nothing and, in fact, seeks to escape the confrontation, at the first opportunity. This has dominance/insecurity and inadequacy compensation written all over it.  Notice how the DUllard always makes a reference to his or her voice rising like a Wagner opus and the, quote/unquote, crowd turning to check out "our hero".

Jeeez........Pure dominance seeking fantasy written from Sit-Com overexposure.  I guess all that basement time wasn't wasted after all.

Didn't these  :censored: holes learn anything in those basket-weaving majors they supposedly took eight years to obtain?

I blame it on the Super Hero comic books these losers read. They sit in their parents' basements/spare bedrooms draming about being heroic. Or just normal. Gives them a delusion of mediocrity.

Umm, even if this was true, what was the expected response of the Congressman to the company moving?  Have the police keep the company in town at gunpoint?

And that would be the response of him to a statement like this: "There is nothing I can do if a company wants to leave."

Yes.  DUllards believe that Congress' express purpose is to make sure any and all businesses stay where they are and employ double the number of employees the bottom line can handle at twice the minimum wage.  They shall use all fascist tactics necessary and then ride away, triumphant, on white sparkly Unicorns throwing Skittles to the cheering throngs of mouth-breathing serfs.

Their actual Constitutionally-limited functions?

Not so much.

After all, why let a little thing like the Constitution stand in the way of the socialist agenda.

Exactly.

Fleet sales to the US gov and cronies like GE should keep them fat and happy until the 0 is removed.

Nice little factoid conveniently overlooked by the "GM is doing so much better" meme crowd.

It is easy to do this to elected officials.  Most of them will stand and smile.  You have to be Barney Frank to be able to yell back at them, call them stupid and get a pass.

Or Pete Stark. He is another one who had no problem telling his constituents how stupid they are.

"Right down the street, here (in Freeport, Illinois), you have the Sensata company getting ready to lay off all of it's workers and ship operations overseas. Your response was to write a letter and "beg" the CEO of Sensata to reconsider the move. You are a Congressman, sir! Do you represent all those Freeport residents who are going to be soon out of a job, or do you represent the company?"

what the DUmmie isn't telling us, is that Schilling probably talked to the company and he couldn't argue with their reason for leaving.  Illinois raised taxes by 66% and now they are talking about bumping state minimum wage requirements well over and above the feds.

Let's not forget what sort of effect that ObamaCare might have on them.

You know, in all the articles I looked at trying to find a reason for the company outsourcing the work, that issue was never raised.  The liberal progressive blogs using this as an example to discredit Romney never mention it.

GM has been relying on fleet sales for years, if not decades.  That's why you rarely see Hondas and Toyotas parked outside the local Hertz/Enterprise office.

The only time they're parked out there, the owners are renting cars at Hertz or Enterprise.

Socialist-in-TN is seriously suggesting that a tea party republican congressman, vote for (and presumably introduce and sponsor) a bill ushering in full-blown Communism?

That's true but now Ford is no longer considered for federal government fleet sales or to companies that get fat juicy no bid or green energy contracts. The fleet sales to those two account for over 50% of Volt sales and almost 25% of overall sales in Chevrolet last year.
When you are the beneficiary of someone’s kindness and generosity, it produces a sense of gratitude and community.

When you are the beneficiary of a policy that steals from someone and gives it to you in return for your vote, it produces a sense of entitlement and dependency.
