They put a sign up saying they support the OWS'ers.  When a riot is scheduled, the smart thing to do is close down and hang a sign saying you support whatever it is the rioters want.
Just a reason to lock the doors and have any rioters that enter arrested for at least trespassing.

blahblahblah

make more profits in the long run

Uh, yeah, not so much--ever seen a tie-dyed suit?  Don't see many people who would normally patronize a MW hanging out at Zuccotti Park.

Now, guys like me, who might need and wear suit someday, yeah--don't think I didn't see that and don't think it isn't going to influence my future purchases in attire.

Men's Wearhouse...the Payless Shoesource of business attire.

Yep.  And even as cheap as some of their prices are, ALL of it is overpriced for the low-quality, out-of-fashion stuff they peddle.

Did you see the commercial with the bride and groom?  That "tux" looked AWFUL.  I'm surprised the bride didn't laugh in his face and run off with the best man.

They're just trying to placate any potential looters. Fairly smart business move.

My thought exactly, and you, sir, are probably even more familiar with the phenomenon than I am.

Actually, wouldn't surprise me if Zimmer actually approved of this move himself--he's a pretty liberal moonbat himself.

But notice, please, he isn't "sympathetic" enough to close all the other stores in the chain; only that single one on the front line of violence.

1. Clearly George Zimmer is one of the good guys.

I will keep that in mind the next time I need a suit or some dress shirts.

One must have a need for such clothing, like one with a JOB!  Damn lazy nogood!

And THERE is the connection. DRUGS. Thats why a 1%er supports Occupiers.

I know where I won't shop...

Same here.

It's like the L.A. riots, when businesses put "Black Owned" signs in their windows.

And therein lies the downfall of the Occupy Movement. They don't realize who their real enemies are.

So many empty platitudes, so many masked statement of so-called support, so many ready to pounce and claim credit.

I prefer the way the Korean business owners dealt with the nonsense. Buckshot.

The only thing that worked better than that was armed Korean store keepers.  The black mob stayed far away from those guys.

When you are the beneficiary of a policy that steals from someone and gives it to you in return for your vote, it produces a sense of entitlement and dependency.

During the 67 race riots in Detroit, many black owned businesses painted "Soul Brother" somewhere on the front of the building so the rioting blacks wouldn't loot their place.

This is no different.
Come to think of it, unions do create jobs. Companies have to hire two workers to do the work of one.

Looks like it didn't help much.

Broken glass is shown at a Men’s Warehouse building in downtown Oakland, Calif., Thursday, Nov. 3, 2011 after a Occupy Wall Street protest earlier. Cleanup work is under way at Oakland’s city hall plaza the morning after a massive anti-Wall Street protest turned violent and chaotic. Graffiti is covering a number of businesses in the immediate area around Frank Ogawa Plaza, where thousands had gathered for a mostly peaceful protest Wednesday. Some windows also are broken, and debris is littering the street. (AP Photo/Paul Sakuma)
