Why did he respond now?  It took "The Donald" to make him do it?  He made a mockery of the Presidency by having a press conference about it. He is an embarrassment and they know it. It has nothing to do with his race.

Anyone who has ever had or has known someone who has held any government job knows damn well that presenting a Birth certificate is required before anything else. With that being said, I have been certain that Obama did have one in order, else Bill & Hill would have destroyed him during the Dem primary.

*Because you know that there is NO WAY that the Clinton's didn't have a copy of it since 2008.

The thing I still wonder about though is why did Obama make a fuss over it - was it because ;

-it contained something embarrassing...
-became a novel wedge issue to keep the 'racist' embers burning...

*Because you know there is NO WAY that Obama would let a golden divisive opportunity pass him by.

Any lurkers from the DUmp care to explain how asking for Obama's birth certificate somehow harms his children while your years and years of DIRECT attacks on the children of conservatives (e.g. GWB's daughters and Palin's kids) does not harm them?  I will give the first lurker to coherently and adequately explain this here $100 and I will promise to cast my 2012 presidential vote for Barack Hussein Obama.

I feel bad for Sasha and Malia -- that they have to watch their father being subjected to these racist slurs from bigoted blowhards and political opportunists (and, as Rachel called them last night, grifters who sell birther merchandise and want this story to keep its legs). And that President and Mrs. Obama have to explain to those darling girls what's behind all of this racist crap.

I don't believe Zer0 spent a few million of SOMEBODY's dollars fighting to NOT produce a birth certificate and now has ponied up an authentic document.
Vile, idiotic bigots at the DUmp don't mind that everyone in this country, INCLUDING OTHER BLACK PEOPLE, have to pony up their birth certificates all the time.  Nah, WE are the racists because we wanted proof, which we haven't gotten.

Coming home from a concert last night we encountered a roadblock and the police asked to see my wife's license (she was driving), we are traumatized for life now.  :mental:
