Your 3 Wishes for 2011

That is, those issues you would most like to see addressed and in which order. Here's mine:

1) Ending the wars/occupations in Afghanistan and Iraq

2) Stimulating the economy from the bottom up, not the top down

3) Global Warming

What's yours?

http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=439x47865

I am sure this thread will be fun when people respond.  :-)

Let's see Obama is the commander in chief so you may get number 1
We are already doing number 2 record numbers of food stamps and unemployment checks. You see how well that is working.
As for number 3 I hear we are heading into a mini ice age so maybe we should drive more to heat things back up.

I may not lock my doors while sitting at a red light and a black man is near, but I sure as hell grab on tight to my wallet when any democrats are close by.

2. 1. Obama's ratings rebound 2. DU falls in love with Obama again 3. Recession ends

 :lmao:

I could have sworn Obama and Biden said they saved us from recession.
In fact Reid all by himself saved the world from economic downfall.  :lmao:

2) Stimulating the economy from the bottom up, not the top down

I may not be an expert on Economics, but how do the poor stimulate the Economy in comparison to the rich? Take high price gadgets for instance, the cost can be pretty high, if people with money buy them they provide jobs up the wazoo for the makers of such gadgets, delivery companies to deliver those gadgets, stores that sell those gadgets, and in time the price comes down to make it more affordable for lower income people to possibly buy them.

Hmmm....this is the kinda DUmmie thread I would post in if they let me.  Which they don't.

One that will never be attained, until the king returns:
World Peace, I don't mean just nobody shooting each other, I mean all the leaders of the world respecting the right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness, and all the nations having agreed to that look to ensuring fair and equitible trade and development of space technology.  (I guess this would earn a ban at DUmmie Land, too.)

Two, one that could happen:
The taliban and Al Qaeda finally screw the pooch badly enough to where they are destroyed and our troops can come home to their familes, with their victory in hand.

Three, one that likely will happen:
I finally find the way out of this blue state.

Why would anyone wish for global warming?  Does Philly know that global warming is supposed to be bad?  (Unless Philly knows something that we don't.)

1.  Obama, Biden, Pelosi, and Reid all drop acid at a party and experience an epiphany, announce '**** it, man, we quit,' and go hippy.

2.  Osama bin Laden and Achmedinnerjacket turn on each other, after AQ offs the top Iranian nuclear scientists and their cute little fissile material project turns in to a glowing crater of no-go death.

3.  A planeload of idiots including Mikey Moore and Soros on their way to a hero's reception in North Korea crashes into the reception stand, taking out all the Nork senior leadership; the US and China agree to just stay 'hands-off' for a South Korean Unification Government to bring the peninsula under one sane, free government for the first time in modern history.
