As expected the Mainstream Media completely shifted gears after the White House Legal Team made their arguments against impeachment to the Senate. In stark contrast to the gushy attitude they displayed towards the House Impeachment managers, the MSM were openly  hostile toward those defending President Trump.

Rubin couldn’t help but outdo herself by taking her Trump Derangement Syndrome to the next level Tuesday evening. In order to convince herself the Trump defense team was failing hard, she mocked them by tweeting, “can you imagine if Sekulow and Cipollone had to try a case in front of a real judge? Bhahaahhahahahaha.”

Well, Rubin probably wishes she’d done a little research first. If she had, she’d have found out that Mr. Sekulow has argued 12 cases before the Supreme Court, and won 9 of them. He argued his first case before the Supreme Court in 1987 at the age of 30, and the Supreme Court unanimously agreed with his argument.

It's an inducator of Rubin's insular existence in the DC Beltway that she is unaware of Sekulow having argued and won cases before the US Supreme Court. A little farther down in the article is a link to an article about Cipollone that indicates that he has tried fairly high-level cases in court. But facts don't matter, because Sekulow and Cipollone represent the BAD Orange Man

I'm kind of surprised that Rubin hadn't seen Sekulow's picture on a few WashPost dartboards well before his current work with Trump.
