Most woke Super Bowl ever
« on: February 07, 2021, 06:25:37 PM »
While surviving our balmy evening here with a mercury level that says -1 degrees fahrenheit, can barely stomach watching or listening to the Super Bowl.  Therefore, I'm going to go off on a bit of rant.

Most of life's usual escape via enjoying sports has been wrecked as liberals desperately desire to ruin everyone's normal diversion.  Have mentioned ever since sporting events actually returned after the Wuhan Red Death began in the U.S. last spring, the Olympics of performative wokeness just continues with reckless abandon.  And the commercials are the absolute topping on the woke cake of B.S.

Elite predominately white liberals in media, advertising, and academia constantly lecturing us deplorables.  Every talking head from the broadcasters to the commercials just stink out loud preaching to their constant choir of fawning and clapping seals with self affirmation.

Just a final bit of a mini-rant:

All lives matter and all employees matter.  (We're not "workers or team members", as that is communist language that has infiltrated our vernacular and I'll never embrace it.)

It was wall-to-wall wokeness...

But strangely, and I think it was the same for everybody, most of the messages and visuals were so unimaginative that they flowed-into one ear and out the other in a total waste of ad-money.  The cringeworthy-ness of the event became the story.

-Crowned by the jockstrap-headed halftime debacle.

Then to make matters worse, Tony Romo had an off-night.  His Superbowl self-consciousness was an embarrassing distraction.  He and Nance spent most of the broadcast apologizing for 'woke idol' Mahones' game-performance.

And HOW did a streaker get on the field???  How much BS were we fed all month about security being sacrosanct... ?

Agreed. They can get over the "workers, team members" etc. Since we all know just go ahead and use comrades. It will make any woke elitist feel good to say it. Just like Venezuela, Cuba and all the enlightened  do.

Another "woke" term that's regularly shoveled down employees' throats:

The Company X "Family".

"METAMUCIL"  Ha!  Ha!   Good one!

Even though I don't think 43 years of age is really all that old! Plus he looks to be in fine shape to me. Very fine shape ...  >blush<
