Stand at ease!
« on: January 02, 2011, 03:26:08 PM »
Good afternoon. Ladies, gentlemen, lurkers. Since I was a young boy, knee-high to tall Indian, I have dreamed of one day joining an organization of such prestige, such fortitude and of such a mission as you have all endeavored.

So I come to you, CC'ers. Armed with rapier wit, mind like steel trap, eyes like hawk.

Looking forward to many hours of frolicking in the mire that is the DUMPSTER.

I say to you.....

Jump on. I have donned my battle tested asbestos underwear and hoist my shield made of "What? Me worry".

Hopefully, thanks for having me on board.

How'd you find us, sir?

No malicious intent behind the question; just simply for market research, to figure out what brings people here.

<<market researcher for conservativecave.

And by the way, welcome.

Howdy! Welcome to CC!
I can see November 2 from my house!!!

Spread my work ethic, not my wealth.

Forget change, bring back common sense.
-------------------------------------------------

No, my friends, there’s only one really progressive idea. And that is the idea of legally limiting the power of the government. That one genuinely liberal, genuinely progressive idea — the Why in 1776, the How in 1787 — is what needs to be conserved. We need to conserve that fundamentally liberal idea. That is why we are conservatives. --Bill Whittle

Well, there's a wide variety of people here, including grouches.

Not many, but some.

Just go with the flow.

Just hand over the chocolate...back away slowly...far away....and you won't get hurt....

Save the Earth... it's the only planet with chocolate.

A balanced diet is chocolate in both hands.

I wish to thank all of you for the gracious welcome.
I have recognized some names from my days of lurking around the DUMPSTER. Hope I have several chances to converse with y'all soon.
Others I haven't yet had the pleasure of acquainting with. But I'm sure that the odd occasion will arise where we sit under our respective shade trees, or on our patios and commisserate on the happy/sad yappings of the prims on the island, butt-munchers all.

Regards, and remember
