My question about cobbler, and I am sure you all are curious about it, is nothing more than an attenpt at civil conversation.

Well that clears the cobbler thingy up - but what about your question to the ladies, about being a man? :clueless:

I am jealous he never did it to me :-)

That was an inside joke, at least to me.

California Peggy, a DUmpmonkie who I would swear in court isn't really a peggy at all, is a well known feature around these parts.

Among other oddities she/he/it likes to post poetry, if you want to call it that, begins a majority of her posts with:

"My dear [insert DUmpmonie's name here]"

She also likes to post photos of herself- always wearing a high turtleneck sweater...

My attempt at humor, asking the FNG from Cali if she was ever a man, leaned towards this.

My attempts are not always spot on.

I only got started 'humping newbe threads' after Thanksgiving- mostly because I got three peach cobblers from friends, and wondered who all else might enjoy them.

Okay...now we can be friends again (Tombstone) :-)

Maybe this will help:  I don't write poetry; it's unlikely I'll post photos of myself; rest assured, I am not a "dude"; and turtleneck sweaters - well maybe sometimes but I don't think I look like a "grub worm" in one...

Grub worm?
"Liberalism is an essentially feminine, submissive world view. Perhaps a better adjective than feminine is infantile. It is the world view of men who do not have the moral toughness, the spiritual strength to stand up and do single combat with life, who cannot adjust to the reality that the world is not a huge, pink-and-blue, padded nursery in which the lions lie down with the lambs and everyone lives happily ever after."

Damn. I was enjoying the dutch-sponsored repartee about leg humping and peach cobbler.

I don't know squat about DUmpmonkeys, so I can't talk toward that.

But hell, he's gone and explained himself -- and thereby ruined the whole damned thing.
