Newbie from NY
« on: December 24, 2009, 05:53:11 AM »
Hi folks,
Looks like my kind of place. I'm a hard working, hard playing, tax paying mountain man from the Catskill Mt's. of NY.  I make bamboo flyrods and hunt and fish. I look forward to making new friends and adding to the logic that is conservatism.

It is the world view of men who do not have the moral toughness, the spiritual strength to stand up and do single combat with life, who cannot adjust to the reality that the world is not a huge, pink-and-blue, padded nursery in which the lions lie down with the lambs and everyone lives happily ever after."

Welcome.  Do you catch a lot of flies with your rods?  Never heard of such.  We like to use fishing rods here in Texas.  To each his own I reckon.

Hi, I used to spend my summers in Scotia when I was boy. A little west?

too much paperwork.

I don't trust any of them til they've proved themselves not leftist trolls. Yet, I'll withhold any criticalism until they do so.

My question about cobbler, and I am sure you all are curious about it, is nothing more than an attenpt at civil conversation.
